1. This is a real true LOVE story.Unlike my previous love story which is actually a Ghost story. But if you ask any Segamat Baru residents in his 50-60 yrs, the ghost story of Segamat is true.

2. My sister who read my blog called me up to clarify that everything was accurate except the address of Jing Sia! Of course I have forgotten the address, so anyhow hantam(created) no 118.The actual story is that Chin Han dropped her "somewhere" and they exchanged note.Jing Sia gave him the address which is not the home of her parent but the graveyard No.(Her home mah after mati liao)

3. Chin Han searched the whole town of Segamat Baru but found no search house no!He discovered the parent address which then lead him to the graveyard where his jacket was found hanging at the tomb!Sure mati lah! But I think happy also lah!Kawin in another world.

4. Now this is another personal Love Story. There was this classmate of mine, Robert Chang, when we were in Secondary 4 in Segamat Sec English School.Robert was tall and handsome and the headprefect of the school.We were 17 yrs old at that time in 1971.

5. One day, there was this new student, her name Monna Tan aged 16yrs,newly transfered into our class. Her parent was from Penang who shifted to Segamat.Our school teacher assigned Robert to help Monna to get settled in the class. Monna was also tall fair and very beautiful.She got an apple face almost the same as I could describe her like Jing Sia. But of course this is real and definitely not the ghost type of fair and shinning look!

6. The very first day when she was introduced into our class, all the boys got stunt by her presence. Everyone admired her as the most beautiful girl in our school. Her nickname Lin Qing Xia the famous actress at that time.Robert fell in Love with her on first sight!

7. Soon both Robert and Monna became like a couple. Both were seen walking together like chewing gum got stuck.Robert act as her chaperon escorting her daily to school and after school. Even to the toilet and at the canteen both can be seen together!
Their love bosom like the mini love story of Chin Han and Lin Qing Sia in the 1970s!
U know the two taiwanese actor and actress!

8. After school they were seen walking and holding hand in hand! (Soh la soh,choe yu choe)!Of course not kissing and hugging in the open! In the 1970s very conservative mah! Not like today, kissing so cheap! Now we can see young school girl and boy 13 or 14 yrs hugging and kissing in the bus in the lift in the MRT! Openly in public like adam and eve first born naked in the garden of eden!

9. During my time,to hold a girlfriend and have a cheek to cheek kiss is as hard as you strike toto or 4d first prize ! Especially those chinese educated girls in the 1960s and 70s! U can only dapat your first kiss during the wedding night. Virgin kiss very expensive 1. Today, you buy your girlfriend a can of coke can kiss liao! Very cheap lah! This is the only item got no inflation!

10.Just to let a bit of my own secret! I first kiss my girlfriend when I was 21 yrs old. That was in 1975 at Toa Payoh Garden which is today Toa Payoh Sports stadium.Thereafter, we had our drink at Rose Garden coffee house, today McDonald in Toa Payoh Central.Very suaku lah!Even before we kiss, I have to look left and look right to make sure nobody see! Like looking out for traffic before crossing the road! Rachel dont laugh at me ok!

11. Ok lets come back to the love story again. Very soon the year end after Sec 5 where the O level exam was over. That was the highest college in Segamat! Any further study has to go to Kuala Lumpur or Spore. Robert who was madly in Love with Monna did very well with 7 distinctions(A1).When you are madly in love, you have very good incentive to study hard and score A1. Your girlfriend encouragement boost your energy!You also want to show her you are clever and you are the best.If not other boy attract her away how?

12. Robert was very ambition and wanted to advance his study oversea! He wanted to enter Singapore Polytechnic! Because of his good result, he got a scholarship, and was awarded a place in the Spore Poly.

13. So after two yrs of courtship in school, the loving couple is due to separate.Robert due to study oversea.Monna got a job as a bank clerk in Segamat.
In those day to get a job as a clerk in the bank is very high class status.Your future carreer is the bank officer!

14. Today, a bank teller clerk job, you see many students walk in and out after 3 months of working! Changing bank clerk job like changing uniform!

15. Ah, now Robert and Monna want to depart.Monna assured Robert that she will wait for his return. They got together in the Garden of Segamat during one full moon night.There they take their vow pointing to the moon like romeo and juliet!

16.Robert hugged Monna tightly and cried fearing that he may lose her in his absent.But Monna assured him and console him.She raised her hand to the moon and the star assuring her patience to wait for his return. That night she offered her first kiss to Robert. Ai yoo! buay tahan! Very precious kiss. I was told later that Robert never wash his mouth and brush his teeth for 3 days after having the first kiss!
Wu ya boh ! Wah um chai!(I dont know)

17. While Robert was away studying, Monna was working. But they continued getting in touch by letter writing through mail. Their letter always end with kiss you good night. Bye! Love!You know lah 40 yrs ago no handphone. Even sending letter takes 3 to 4 days to arrive!How slow pace in those day. You really value your love letter.

18. Time passed very fast. Soon Robert graduated with a diploma!And he got a job as a Junior Engineer! He returned to his home town feeling very proud! U know in 1970s the number of diploma holder in Segamat can be counted on fingers only.His parent was a farmer. He own a bicycle. On his return, he bought a motor-scooter! Wah upgrade liao.

19. Tut tut tut! horn horn horn! He arrived at Monna home with a surprise. With a rose flower he hold on both hands to present to his sweetheart! Monna came out of the house, saw him but was irritated instead of rushing to hug him ! She took the flower throw it onto the ground and stepped on it.She told Robert straight on his face their relation have ended. She is now engaged to a rich man son who drove a mercedes. The son of a housing developer, a prominent multi-millionair Dato Sia Her Yam, the developer of Segamat Baru.

20. Monna chose the rich man son over the young handsome graduate! All her past love with Robert is just puppy love. Money and wealth changes a girl's heart. They say diamond is a girl's best friend and love.This is very true of Monna.Robert scooter got two wheel what is that to compare with 3 mercedes car Monna new found lover possessed!

21. Poor Robert got jilted on his return home after pursuing his oversea study. 3 years of absent does not make the heart of Monna grow fonder!Now for 3 days 3 night Robert could not eat and sleep. Siao liao. His mother boil jinseng drink for him and mother and son cried very sadly. This is love life mother's hand had no control.
Mother can only pray to God for peace!

22. Robert become weaker and weaker. He had fever 38 degree shot up to 40 degree.Compare with Torusan fever 38 degree yesterday nothing.1 week later Robert gathered with all his strength got up from his bed. He decided to try another attempt to confront his so called Lover Monna! He remembered before he left for Spore, Monna sweared his love for him to the Moon and the Star to wait for his return!

23. Ring Ring Ring he arrived at Monna house again. Monna opened the door! She looked very angry on seeing him again. Robert begged for her hand asking to give him a chance! He reminded her of her promise and her vow pointing her hand to the moon and star! Monna raised her hand and give Robert a tight slap on his face.She shouted and scolded him stupid.She reminded him that she is now engaged to someone else and will be leaving to Europe for honeymoon in a month's time.

24. Monna warned Robert not to see her again and broke her bright new life ahead.She even told Robert off that swearing to the moon and star dont carry any weight cos the moon and star are not constant.Full moon come only 1 in 15 day.And the star is not visible at all time. In bad weather the star is not visible!Hahaha swearing to the moon is not an agreement or covenant! Only puppy lover swear by the moon lah!

25. What a heart broken man! Lovesick, jilted and got slapped! I heard there was an incident where a girl slapped her boyfriend openly when caught smoking! Snatch away the cigarette and stamped it on the ground. That act at least is for good reason to stop the boyfriend become a smoker.But the boyfriend got angry cut ties! Ho Sim lagi Jialat!

26. But this girl slapped her boyfriend to get rid of him! Cos she found another boyfriend better and richer.One mountain got one mountain high! Bicycle..Scooter...car! If only u got jet plane Monna will make U-turn come back to U!

27. But both slap resulted in broken heart and broken relationship. 1 poor girl with good intention lost her boyfriend. Another poor boy got jilted! Scooter vs Mercedes car! Now who say $$$ not important?

28. Poor Robert life was shattered! A lovesick man heart broken.The last time I visited him at his home, he was lying at the corner of the garden.Still single! Thin and pale looking with one side of the face slightly swollen! Slump on a rocking chair! And there was an old cassette player switched on! From far I could hear the soft music song playing ....I'll never fall in Love again.......








1.This is a true story that happened in Segamat in the year 1964.In my home town in Segamat Baru there lived a young bacheror man 24 yrs old.He rode a scooter and used to travel freely from his home in Segamat Baru and another small village in Jementah which is about 12 mile apart.

2. Between the two small village town, there is a wooden bridge on the 7th mile stone! Today mile stone is replaced by km (kilometre).One saturday night,this so called handsome man, his name Lim Chin Han, was riding his scooter returning home after the midnight show from Jementah. It was past midnight, the weather was drizzling cold and the moon covered by dark cloud.

3. The young man riding home alone has to pass by the 7 milestone wooden bridge across the muar river . As he passed by the bridge, he saw a young lady by the road side waving a car ahead of him. The car did not stop and just passed by her. He too did not stop and just passed by! A short distant after passing by the lonely lady dressing in white, something strike his mind.

4. The man has compassion and has a soft heart. Because it was drizzling cold and in the middle of the night, he felt it pity for the girl to wait for a taxi or passing car at that hour.He decided to make a U-turn to approach the girl to help giving her a ride home.

5. Tut tut tut, he arrived and slowed down on approaching the girl standing at the road side. She was very pretty with long hair and face shining and fair. Her voice was soft and sweet like Teresa Teng! Wah, Chin Han,on seeing her the heart melt. He has never seen such a pretty girl in his life. No one can compare with her beauty since the seeing sun first set on earth! (Shakspere words by Romeo describing Juliet)

6. Not even the 4 beauties as described in the Chinese History can match her beauty!Chin Han was stunt and loss for word to open his mouth for at least 1 minute.Not even Queen Shiba(One of King Solomon wife) or Princess Helen of Troy can out shine her. Gentlemanly, Chin Han asked why is she waiting at that hour of the night. She spoke softly and sweetly that she was waiting for a taxi home to Segamat Baru.

7. Just nice lor! He told her he too is returning home to Segamat Baru and offered her a ride home.Offer accepted with kindness and thanks! Wah this is better than tio beh pio(strike lottery)!

8. As it was drizzling cold,the girl was shivering a bit because she was wearing a soft white dress.Noticing her shivering cold, Chin Han offered his jacket to her. She put on the jacket and got into his scooter riding pillion. She hugged onto Chin Han as they were riding home.The warmest hug by a girl in his 24 years of bachelor life. In fact, the 1st virgin hug of his life. He felt like an electrical shock. A dream of his life time when it was the first hug by a lady!

9. Pot! pot! pot!He arrived at her home at No 118 Segamat Baru! She alighted and they exchanged name but no contact number.In 1964 no handphone lah! How to contact but by letter or visit only! The girl too was smitten by his tall, handsome and good look!He was her saviour to fetch her home. Thinking that the handsome man may not see her again, she proposed that she keep his jacket! She asked Chin Han to return 1 week later to have his jacket back. She offered to wash the jacket for him!

10.In those day,if the girl like the boy, this is an excuse lah. She will asked for something to keep and then there is a chance to meet again. Today, handphone number exchange, SMS MMS or email can liao. Sound like korea drama show!

11. Eyes to eyes they looked at each other for 10 minutes and it was just very hard to depart.They just lightly touch each other hands! She softly whisper her name as Jing Sia to him. Jing Sia bye please take care! Bye Chin Han! Chin Han just could not leave until she open and get into her house. He waited until the door closed! Still stood there. He moved to the side window and looked up still refusing to leave.

12. Guess what! she got in and peep at him from the window.Seeing that he did not leave,her heart also melt. She opened the window and waved at him again to say goodbye. And he just stood there ! Now it is not korean drama show! It is like Bollywood Indian love show. 1 small scene act very long 1.Buay tahan!Finally Jing Sia has to come out and pushed him onto the scooter and give one more touch onto his hands to make him leave. No kiss at that time! Got hands to touch very good liao !Very traditional in 1964!It was nearly 1am by then!

13. Finally, they depart! That night Chin Han returned home lying in bed turning left and right smiling and floating like Alice in Wonderland! For those who have fallen in LOVE the first time you can imagine what I am trying to describe! This story was told to me personally by Chin Han with 5 other friends of mine. We heard the first hand story 10 days after this first encounter. I remembered this incident happened on the 9th of August 1964.

14. On the appointment date, three days later, after they first met, Chin Han dressed up in his best ever suit, comb his hair, spray his christian dior perfume,polished his scooter and there he goes to meet his 1st girlfriend in his life.

15. On arrival at the house 118 Segamat Baru, knock knock knock! Door open! the girl mother open the door. Chin Han asked to see Jing Sia! But her mother give him a staring look! She looked at him hard staring from head to toes!Like an angry mother not approving his presence.Alamat, the christian dior perfume must be fake odour not attractive! The mother chased him out saying there is no such person!

16. Sad and dissapointed, Chin Han could not eat and sleep for the next 3 days.Love at first sight kena smitten lovesick! He did not give up but continued riding his scooter passing the house up and down hoping to have a sight of Jing Sia.If only today got nokia handphone number exchange hose liao! But no phone contact lah in 1964!

17. Finally,Chin Han, seek friends help to gather about the family of the house no 118.It so happened that Jing Sia has a sister, Jing Jing, who is the classmate of my youngest sister. Chin Han confided his story to me! I then asked my sister to help find out about Jing Sia from her classmate Jing Jing.

18. Guess what we found out. My sister told me that her classmate sister, Jing Sia aged 21 yrs,died 1 year ago in Spore of a road traffic accident.Her body was taken back home and buried at the 7th milestone Chinese cemetery. Her mother was aware a man has gone to her house looking for her. But the mother did not want to tell him she was dead.

19. Now I have a problem how to tell the lovesick Chin Han that the girl he met must be the ghost of Jing Sia. Scare man. My body now also shiver!Hair of my skin stand up! Bo Pian, Chin Han die die also want to go and meet the girl family again. He want to hear first hand story! Furthermore, he was very sure he send her home.And he has also lend her his jacket.

20. I have no choice but to accompany Chin Han to the girl's family. The family show the dead daughter's photo to him to convince that she is dead. They also decided to bring him to the cemetery of the dead girl.

21. On arrival at the cemetery, Chin Han saw his jacket hanging at the tomb of Jing Sia grave! Siao liao! Tears drop! Chin Han cried and cried like Liang Shang Po over Chu Yin Tai grave! If only heaven have the grave opened, he will have jumbed in to bury with her! Then both turned into a pair of butterfly flying to heaven!. Till death do they meet!

22. Chin Han fell sick and was admitted to hospital. Doctor cannot find any cause!
Chin Han family seek the Monks help and the taoist priests to chant and pray for him. But it was too late. His soul has been smitten to the girl. 1 week later Chin died.Both family decided to have him buried side by side the grave!

23. This is the story of Lim Chin Han and Goh Jing Sia in the small durian town of Segamat Baru!

24. Lesson learnt, never pick up any girl wearing white, standing on the road near the cemetery in the middle of the night. Otherwise it is a 1 night love!Not the story of the 7 night love in Tokyo!



1. What is Miracle healing? This is healing that cannot be explained by science or human being reasoning. Some say it is God's willing or fate. Or it is faith in some religious belief.

2. My father is a medium or in hokkien called "tankee".This means his body is used as a medium for some Chinese "Gods" that come into his body in a trance.He then speak like that of the Gods that come into his body.And the sick will ask for his cure.The gods will prescribe the sick patient to eat certain herbs for the cure.
The medium act like doctor for the sick.

3. When I was in my younger day,I witnessed my father as a medium in the temple.When the so called Tua Pek Kung god come into his body, he will speak like an oldman.And he will cough and asked for hot chinese tea. The temple devotee will continued serving hot chinese tea to him.

4. I observed that people always first asked for some illness of their son or daughter.Sometime the sickness is just simply cough or pain of their body.The prescription is just taking some cough medicine or some cooling tea.But the medium will write some "Hu" or a piece of yellow paper.And the patient was asked to burn and put into a cup of water and drink it. It is a holy water to cure.Those who believe faithfully drink the holy water and if cured, say it is very "Leng"! Not cure then see doctor lah! Bopian lor!

5. More often than not,old people always asked Tua Pek Kong for 4d lottery number.9 out of 10 times the number given kena eaten!Today on hindsight I felt if I give tips on the 4d number, my percentage of striking 4d is better than the Tua Pek Kong!

6. Why I lost faith in the so called chinese Tua Pek Kong god? Well when I was in my lowest point of my life I seek help in the temple! I pray and asked for 4d lottery.No money so ask for help mah! Very logical mah! I seek medium from Tua Pek Kong and I pray to 4 face buddha Goddess! No answer leh! Worst still the Tua Pek Kong god told me that I must have "hoh woon" or good luck life then can strike 4d!

7. What a lousy answer! If got good luck no need to come to Tua Pek Kong liao!So I went to church to pray. Guess what? Jesus say he come to help the sick, the poor and the heavy ladden.(jialat type).My prayer was answered freely. I dont need to buy banana, orange or apple or joystick (should use jawstick)and kim chua(gold paper) to offer as prayer.I just pray in my heart and I dont need to buy 4d. Guess what, other people strike 4d bring money to me.God prosper in my job and bring riches to me!

8. Recently, my musoko(Japanese son) complained of back pain. His pain was diagnosed as slip disc by the doctor. It was there for many years. Doctor told him that it required operation to have complete cure.The pain come and go frequently. But if he sit for too long the pain will come back.

9. Of late, the pain come back again. He complained that the pain caused him until the legs dumb.His mother advised him to seek specialist treatment. It is very costly and he knew the answer is still surgery!He was hesitant to seek doctor treatment.

10. I decided to ask him to seek miracle healing which is free. But he told me that he did not believe in God.And he dont believe in miracle healing. Anyway it is also not a hundred per cent guarantee. If everyone can be healed by miracle prayer, the doctor no job liao.

11. I myself have attended the miracle healing and witnessed many people healed. But for one person healed there are many not healed despite many time prayer sessions.
Even my church pastor say he have no answer why some are healed and some not.My pastor say he has gone to hospital and prayed for the sick. Sometime he prayed and prayed but the patient also mati. Sometime, just one short prayer and the patient got healed completely.

12. So as not to be so sure, I told my musoko there is a 10% chance he may be healed.No harm trying. Anyway it is free of charge.He can try his luck. If healed just give thank to the God. He say ok.

13.So off we went and attended the Church miracle prayer session. I asked one of the church lighter to pray for him. In Jesus name he prayed for him. I leave it after that 1 prayer. 1 month past and 2 month past then I noticed that he did not complain of back pain lately. Scare to ask him in case he say the pain still there! Then I laukui (no face) if it did not work. I asked my wife whether he still complain any pain to her. SHe say no. Last night while we had supper suddenly he opened his mouth and say his back pain has gone.

14. Gone ! No Pain! Healed liao!

15. Next week we give thanks to the God Jesus! Miracle healed !Just the 1st step to beliefing in God.Amen


1.What is Good about life in Malaysia? There are 10 good points about life in Malaysia.

2.First, the country is Big if you compare it with Spore.There are ample space and land of natural beauty to visit and stay.And you never get tire of it.You have mountain to climb, Mt Ophir, Mt Kinabaru and other highland resorts cooling weather like Cameron Highlands and Genting Highlands.

3.Second, you have beautiful beaches and natural scenery from Johore Desaru to East Coast Kuantan, west coast Port Dickson and further north Langkawi and Penang Island.
The Highway road is smooth and up to standard.Travelling from states to states is easy by road and transport is easily available.

4.Third,local people are generally friendly.Various races of Malay,Indian and Chinese get along ok.Languages spoken in Malay, and English common. No barrier in communication if you understand a bit of Malay.

5.Fourth,Food is a paradise.You have Malay, Indian, Chinese and Western food catering to all races.If we are Chinese,we eat all kind of foods. Halal non halal all can eat.

6.Fifth, cost of living is cheap if you have Singapore dollars to convert. There are many local products freely available!
Local fruits,durian,rambutans,mango,langsat,melons, pineapple freely available!

7.Sixth,life pace is slow.Because things move at a slower pace, you dont get stress out. Unlike in the City life in Spore or the main town in Kuala Lumpur, there is no rush to push and hurry in doing things. It is not a rat race to do thing in a hurry if you are in the small town.You are more relax and stress free to live your life.

8.Seventh,no lack of goods shortage from Luxury items to cheap items.Shopping complex plentiful and many choices to pick.You never get tire of shopping from big name shopping centre to local pasar malam!

9.Eight,freedom of movement and travel wherever you like.So long as you got money to spend you lived to your liking. Beer and other entertaining centre are cheap.
SPA and relaxing centre freely available.

10.Ninth,money transfer no restriction.Bank facilities everywhere.Communication cyberspace internets up to 1st world standard.

11.Lastly,Malaysia welcome you! Ada duit Malaysia Boleh! Huan Yin ! Huan Yin!

12.So much about good thing of Malaysia, now there are bad things Sporean dont like to consider moving over.

13.1st,crime rate very high.Many indonesian illegal immigrants there, robberies and other crime very high.Not safe moving about.You get robbed easily.

14.Investments in Malaysian banks not safe also. The Malaysian ringgits keep dropping
compare with Spore $. Now maybe $2.40 but in 10 yr time it may be $3.50 to S$1.00.
Might as well keep in Spore.Our returns is better in the long run.

15.When you are living in 1st world class standard of living in Spore, going over to 2nd class standard of living is just not a good way. You dont have a good efficient hospital or government department.At time you may encounter this irritating government civil servants, mainly local bumiputra.

16.Being Chinese, we are not so welcome by the local Malay people.There are some cultural differents.In case of racial riots, we Chinese are outnumbered by the Malay.
Long term safety not assured.

17.But then if we take into consideration the Chinese race and the money rate exchange, then retiring in China will be much better.!$1,000.00 equal $5.000.00 Ren.

18.Both my father and mother were China born. My grandfather came from the Hokkien province in China. When my grandmother were alive, we still had contact with relatives in China. Of course only through letter and mail. And that is only 1 way sending $$$ and $$$ to the relatives in China.

19.We were told that our grandmother left behind a three storey bungalow house in China for the other relatives to stay behind. Bad story told about relatives in china! They are blood $$$ suckers.Every mail or letter send to our grandmother is always an excuse to ask for $$$! 1 excuse is always 1 family so and so sick need medical attention. Another is so and so aunty or uncle son or daughter getting married. When they run out of excuse, they make-up one, saying great grand-aunty getting married! Another time, great grand-uncle giving birth to baby!

20 MY goodness if uncle can give birth and grandmother getting married, my father can breastfeed baby liao! Damm jialat.

21.No wonder after my grandmother passed away, my uncle told my cousin to cut ties completely! My father also do not want to have any contact with the relatives in China.Of course we do send spies over to visit the neighbour in China just to know whether our ancestor home is still there.

22.Latest information received,our grandmother home is still there occupied by now our distant cousin! Should we third generation now make ties with them? Can lah provided they behave like human being and not $$$ blood suckers! Dont tell us Ah Kong ai see kia or Ah Ma ai kawin!(Grandfather want to give birth or grandmother want to get married)

23.So the option of 2nd home is Malaysia and 3rd option maybe China in the future!


1. On my return home to Segamat for my father day gathering, my 3rd brother told us about his planning to retire when he reached his 56 yr.He discussed his retiring plan with my 4th sister, Siew Kuan, who is getting married this coming 28th June.

2. My 2nd brother, Tin Boon, running his successful trading company has his plan to retire at age 56 yr. Why age 56 yrs? Well in Malaysia at age 55 yrs he is due to withdraw his EPF same with Spore CPF.He has been working since age 17 yr old until now.

3. By the time he reached 55 yrs, his EPF must have at least a few hundred thousand dollars. His business trading worth at least another 1 or 2 million.He told me that he could sell off his business upon reaching 55 yrs. Thereafter,he could just put his cash saving in the bank earning interest.

4. Assuming the bank interest is 3 % .For 1 million a yearly interest is $36,000.00
Hence, the interest earned will give you a monthly income of $3,000.00 This is more than enough for a couple to live comfortable.Assuming you have your own house, you dont drink, dont gamble. That give you a daily expense of $100. So you can retire peacefully till 70-80 or 90 yrs until you go to heaven.

5. This sounded very perfect on condition that you have no more burden or children to support. Of course, by age 56 yrs, his two children must have graduated from School or college and earning their own living.

17.A better place will be at Gotong Raya at the base of Genting Highlands where you can enjoy the golf club scenery and cool weather.Shopping at the theme park! 1.This year Father Day falls on the 15th June. My family held a family lunch gathering for our father in Segamat this yr.It was an annual celebration in honour of our father who is 79 yr old, strong and healthy.

2.First I want to mark the attendent of the family members.

h) 4th Siew Beng 49yrs(Only 1 son)
i) 5th Siew Kuan 46yrs(Getting married this 28th June)
j) 6th Siew Lian 44yrs (Barren!Adopted 1 Aborigin dark color daughter)

3.Of the 10 children,7 were present.Only the elder brother,elder sister and 2nd sister,were absent.This is two-third majority win liao in an election.Not forgeting many of us were in different town coming home from KL,Simpang Rengam, Johore Bahru,Singapore.

4.Next yr is my father 80 yrs, we agreed all must be present for the grand occassion for our father birthday which is also near the father day on June. His actual birthday is on 16th of the chinese lunar 6th month.

5.Our father is very fair to all the children rich or poor.Thanks God none consider poor.All has two hands and two legs in good working order. It is a blessing that there is no black sheep in the family.

6.The Chinese saying that in every family there is always a black sheep. It means there is always a son or daughter who is outclass! Either he or she is a burden to the family, like gone kuku(mad), drug addict, or turned wayward! Thanks God none in our family of 10 is a blacksheep.All tan wu jia.(Can earn a living)

7.The only sad thing is the elder brother who is less close to the family members.But he is the richest of all in the family of 10. A multi-millionair who has few properties in Spore and Malaysia.He owns a BMW, and Mercedes car. But the most stingy of all to the siblings. His wife was disliked by our family members.
Probably due to her stinginess and unfriendliness.A rich wife walks with the nose up!

8.My elder brother and his family were not present in our father day gathering when most other sisters and brothers were present.The reason is very simple. Because he is very rich but stingy he felt it odd to attend the lunch or dinner. If he pay the bills his wife will nag at him.But if he eats without paying, he is scorned by us all brothers and sisters.Hence, his absent. A case of money is more important than blood ties.We wish him and his family well that fengsui shine like sun rise always in the East.

9.Coming to the father day, why is it that in Spore, mother day is more celebrated than father day? The children honour the mother more than the father is one reason.
This is why most restaurant were fully booked during mother day than father day.
But all our brothers and sisters loved our father more than our mother. Our father was more fair and understanding to us. Our mother is typical of the Liang Po Po character. Nagging and gossipy type!

10.Strangly, my elder brother honour my mother more than the father.He never fails to give whatever money my mother asked for. He give more to mother than father.Of course he has his reason.It was our mother who beg and borrow money to send him for oversea education that brought him sucessful today in business.At least he knows the mountain when he drinks his water!

11.All my sisters say that they give equally to both even though we like father more than mother.My mother is a spend thrift.

12.My father stopped work at age 50 yrs.His favorite granddaughter is my elder daughter.Everyone knows about it. This was because he came to stay with me to help look after my 1st daughter,Shannie. She will hugged him and cried whenever he want to leave home after a visit here in Spore.This touches his heart until today.

13.This was reflected in the amount of Angpow money yearly he gives to my elder daughter from my first marriage. Her angpow amount to hundred yearly compared to the other grandsons and granddaughter $20 standard price.Sadly, my daughter dont know how to value the grandfather love.

14.Earlier my wife has plan to ask her father out for dinner to celebrate father day for him. But because I had to attend my own father day in Malaysia, I leave it to her own plan. I cannot be in both place to honour them both.

15.On my return home,I asked my wife about her own father day. As usual, she talk only lah !The day come like sun set in the west and nothing happen.Her excuse, the other two brothers dont bother! Another brother blacksheep "kuku" 1. Another sister in Japan. Another excuse, my father in law has diebetes and he dont anyhow eat except some boil vegetables.Somemore, we never celebrate mother day earlier.Wait mother-in-law jealous!Ah next yr lor!

16.Who started this father day and mother day? It must be the restaurant business people who took the opportunity to bring in more business.

17.Christian believed in the heavenly father(God). Father is the head of the family.
Chinese people believed the generation is passed down from the surname of the man(father).So no son, the generation end.That's why the Chinese prefer son than daughter.

18.Why is there a Chinese proverb (Kao pa kao ma)or Cry father cry mother!When a person make too much noise we always say dont cry father cry mother!Well this is because in the old tradition, children were very filial to the parent. They cried the loudest during the funeral of the parents.

19.Today some children were laughing during the funeral.They even engaged drum music singing pop song during the funeral. Happy mah for those rich parents leaving behind properties.

20.For those father who died without any properties for the children, well wishers will say remarks that he left behind, a banana tree and two coconuts!




1.Mother's heart is always LOVE. The story of Ah Chye my sister's son who sever ties and cut contact with the parents has learnt a lesson.. The only son, ah chye aged 21yrs,who cut ties and declare Non-communication with the mother causing grief and depression to the mother.Now he has a taste of life.

2.RETRIBUTION COMES FAST! Guess what happened? Ah chye fell sick of a mysterious virus with high fever and was admitted to hospital.The doctor was unable to find the the cause of sickness.Could he have eaten tomato tainted with Salmonella or have eaten fish from Myanmar contaminated with human fresh?

3.Since the day he sever ties, the mother has been regularly praying for his return and asking for repentance.She turned deeply religious and daily meditate to seek God's LOVE.

4.Her prayer must have answered with this divine intervention? Was the son mysterious sickness caused by her prayer?

5.When the son was first admitted to hospital, brought in by his working colleague, he was still stubborn.He leave message not to inform the parent.His wish was granted.But after 1 week, doctor find him slowly dying with extreme high fever not going down. He was in breathing difficulties like symtoms of SARS!

6.Finally, the doctor noticed in his final examination it was a hopeless case.Matter of time to die.He make a last check to ensure the family is kept informed.In his final examination he asked to see the parent. Bopian liao,Ah Chye mother was informed.The mother heart is Love and mercy. She made the visit and shed tear on seeing the prodigal son lying in the intensive ward.

7.Mother give her life to prayer and fasting for 3 days and 3 night! Namo namo omi to omi to!...She was a full vegetalian praying to the Goddess heavenly mother!For the son sake she fast without food for 3 days and 3 night chanting namo.. omi.. to.

8.Prayer answered. Ah Chye recovered as mysterious as he was admitted. He just got up from bed and the fever goes back to normal.He asked for food to eat.The same day doctor discharged him and mother and son leave hospital just like they checked in and out of transit budget hostel.

9.Mother and son had communication after more than a year of separation.What a re-union.?

10.Mother's heart has compassion, love and mercy.Even though the son caused her grief she never blame him but just love.She pray and fast 3 days and 3 night for his discovery. She never tell the son that he deserved to die! There you are!. This is your punishment! God decided to give him a second chance.

11.But not all mother like this you know. Some mother is as evil as satan.They beat and swear and curse at their children like animal.Some mother starved their children and have no love at all. There were story of mother after giving birth to a baby girl just simply bury it in the garden. Why? they have preference for boy.This are traditional mother in India and China.

12.In India, bringing up a daughter is a burden.She has to be married off with dowry to pay. In China a one child policy, parent want a son to carry down the generation surname.So a daughter is a curse.

13.My wife told me about her mother cursing her like no tomorrow.She claimed that her mother has preference for boys and none of her brothers received bad treatment compare with her and another sister.

14.She remember during her lowest point of her life, she went back to the mother's home to seek refuge. But was chased out shortly after a month stay. No mother love.
I questioned her more thoroughly to find out what is the cause?

15.My conclusion, in today's world No money no Love. Cannot siam! We are living in a new material world.As I have said earlier if you have no money even Ghost also run away from you.

16.To proof that, I now invite my mother-in-law and her family to dinner regularly and during festival buy goodies, drinks and pressed my wife to give some monthly cash.Guess what happen? She has all good words for her and my family.My other aunties told me about that.They say I have sabo the other family members.

17.My mother same same. Those who give her money she has very good words about you.
And if you stop giving when you are broke no excuse. All your past giving is forgotten! Hence,cannot siam.

18.But father more understanding. I remember when I was down in my lowest point of life, I did not visit my parent during Chinese New Year for two consecutive years. Why? No money to give angpow dare not return home.

19 Guess what happen? On my return home later, my father say something that touches my heart.He say whether I am up or down dont be afraid to return home.His house is open to me at all time. He is happy so long I return to visit. "Boh buay yao kin Lang lai tio ho"! I really believe what he say.

20 But if my mother say the same thing, I may doubt and say " Wu ya boh"(True or not)Whatever, it is our duty to honour the parent. Honour you parent and thou shall have long good life.

21.God never say dishonour and thou shall have short bad life. But what happened to Ah Chye fallen sick in a mysterious way is something to ponder! Tomorrow is father day I want to go and buy a train ticket home to honour. I dont care about other, I will do my way.

1.Word of God say "Let those who do not work dont eat". Very simple mah. No work no money no food to eat lor.This word is also meant for those lazy 1. Those lazy man dont want to work will have lack.So the lazy 1 will not succeed.

2.The trouble is some people born with a silver spoon. So dont work also got food to eat.For example those born from a rich family. What is that to work if your parent is a multi-millionair. They started from the poorest status as coolie or labourer up to the richest millionair.Name like Lee Kong Chian, Tan Lek Sai were fine example.They work hard in the early life, safe and continued working and later succeed.

5.But some people believe your life is fated. No matter how hard you work, you still will not succeed. Some people work for 20-30 yrs in his job and for 20-30 yrs still the same. Work until mati also dont succeed. Ai pia tok boh ya.You can say this is the born loser group. Hokkien say Kiam Chye Mia(salted vegetable life)

6.Just like those who buy 4d and toto. Some people buy 4d and toto for 40 yrs also never kena. Worse still sampai mati also no money to buy coffin.Some people were like Ti Kung Kia, every few years will strike 4d big and the money never run dry in their pockets. My father in law is one of them. He work hard as taxi driver for 40 yrs but every now and then will strike 4d or windfall money come to him.Called it good luck or faith or hard work? Dont know leh!

7.There is another group my church Chinese pastor, Mark Ng,used to say. He say in the hokkien song, Ai pia jia eh ya( need to work hard to succeed)is good. But Jesus come to give good news better than the hokkien song! What is that?

8.If you dare to believe, "For God so love the world that whoever believe in him will have eternal(succeed) life" So miang pia eh.(No need hard work) Siang xin tio ya liao!(believe only succeed)

9.I believe, my father in law also partly belong to the last group.He believe and he goes to church every sunday.He work hard until retire this year aged 73! God bless him with no lack even none of his three sons support or give him money.Instead he has to feed one of his mad or lazy son till now.But fear not! Just believe win liao!

1.The latest news in the paper say that the Japanese Government now recognised the aborigine of the Japanese people, the Ainu, the earliest tribe found in the Northern Island of Japan.

2.But who are the real origin of the Japanese people. Looking at the history and color of the Japanese people,it appeared quite clearly they must be from the Chinese blood. Surely, they cannot be descendent of the Indian or the red Indian or the african. Not black mah!

3.History civilisation revealed that the Chinese spread to the Korean, taiwanese and later to the Japanese.

4.One legend story when I first read about Japan goes like this. Once upon a time long long ago there lived a King in the Middle Kingdom(today China).The King or so called Emperor lived a life like that of what we read in history about King Solomon.
The king on earth is that of Life in Paradise. The best luxuries life on earth belongs to the King. Hence, the best food, dress,beauty queen of queens belong to the King.Only the King can have a thousand wives and mistress.

5.As a King, when you have everything in life, what else do you fear? Your only fear is death! God is only fair to the people in this earth on 1 thing. Everyone have only 1 life and death escape no one even if you are a King.The only different is some have longer life than other.

6.As the King advanced in age, he knew he may not live long foever.But of course he has the best doctor or physician or magicians with him in his palace. One day he got the idea from one of his chief physician that there may exist a magic herb that will prolong his life forever.

7.He then directed his people to find that magic herb. He personally called up his chief physician to get him that magic herb within a period of time or else head will be chopped.

8.The chief physician knew his life is at stake.So he came up with an idea and told the KIng that the magic herb can only be found on the far East across the Ocean Islands. He told the King that he need to have a fleet of ships to sail to the East across ocean Islands. And he also request that 300 young healthy boys and 300 girls be put in the fleet to help search the herbs.

9.At the command of the King, the fleet of ships and 300 young boys and 300 girls were recruited.And they set sail to the east across ocean.Legend had it that the ships landed in today Northern Island of Japan. The Chief Physician knew there was no such herbs.He could not return home empty handed. It means death by beheading.
So he settled down in the Island with the young boys and girls to bring down a new generation.That is how the Japanese was born.

10.My grandmother story of the modern day Japanese is that they are short,(wai kia) cruelty, in human. In human means like animal, so not human lah. Why they say so? Well Singapore and Malaysia came under Japanese rule during the 2nd world war from 1941 to 1945. During the war, many story of Chinese people were killed, beheaded and wide spread of starvation, torture occurred. Women, children young and old were raped and killed by Japanese soilders without mercy.

11.I once heard my grandmother told me the story of dont eat like 3yrs 8months. Ah what do you mean? You know when we were young where food was lacking, we sometime fight among siblings for sweet and food. And we eat like so hungry macham pig eating non stop. So here our grandmother on seeing us eat like that, say dont eat like you have not eaten for 3 years and 8 months.

12.It was later when I grew up that I realised that in Malaysia and Singapore, we were under the control of the Japanese for 3 years and 8 months! The Japanese surrender when the Americal dropped two atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
So our parent and grandparents come out of jungles. The survival know the life of food shortage and value the topioca and sweet potatoes.That was the food they eat during the war.

13.My late father in law was killed by the Japanese.So also is many of their uncles and aunties.Those old generation of our present uncles and aunties who survived during the Japanese occupation have the hatred for Japanese.

14.There was a saying I once heard from my grandmother to us and my cousin. Never get married to any Japanese. Whoever do so is not a human being but a dog or animal.
The word running dog refer to those who work for the Japanese during the war.

15.I remember when I was working as a traffic Police investigator I used to come across Japanese man caught for drink driving. Most of those drink drivers were working in Spore as Manager post or Director of big Japanese company.

16.Whenever, the Japanese man was asked to see me for investigation, he will be accompanied by a local secretary who can speak Japanese.The local secretary will act as interpreter.

17.And I remember I always make fun of the Japanese man. I will tell the Japanese that my grandfather was killed by the Japanese soldier! And probably, his father or grandfather was that soldier that killed my grandfather! So I have to take revenge on all Japanese. My first word and hand signal to the Jap is to show him "hang on the neck! And If he dont understand I will asked the secretary to interprete the story to him first before recording his statement.

18.Upon investigation, I will asked the interpreter to tell the Jap the punishment is hanging! But of course it is hanging of the driving licence not hanging of his life!

19.On my years as investigator, I found that all Japanese drivers found driving under the influence of alcohol pleaded guilty in Court. None of them engaged any lawyer to fight the case. Probably, they are aware in their own country the punishment is more sever, sentenced to jail and suspension of licence.

20.I also make a survey by interviewing them. Whenever, I threaten them with imprisonment and hanging first and later try to find out their descendent, I found one answer! They always say they are descendent from the Korean or the northern mongolian.

21.Later I change tactic, by praising them first and say their skin and color and Japanese writing looked like Chinese. Guess what? They will say their origin is from the Chinese. I think they try to tanjia or try to please me hoping to get a lighter fine! But when I repeat the story of my grandfather being killed by them, ah the face change color to red like ang mo very fast.Siao Liao !Mabok liao!

1. This coming 28th June is my last sister,Siew Kuan, getting officially married.She is now aged 46 yrs, the last 1 in the family of 10, to get married off finally.Legally she was registered 10 yrs ago.

2. My this sister was just 18yrs when she came to Spore and worked in a salon as hairdresser and stayed with my elder brother for the past 20 over years.A very faithful worker who never job hop from day 1 until now.Her husband is an air-con Technician aged 50 yrs.

3. Ah, but why wait until now past the child bearing age then kawin.My mother used to nag at her and keep asking when they are getting married. 1 yr after another until now when they finally got a house of their own. I had joke with her yearly,threaten no more Chinese New Year angpow since the day she was legally married 10 yrs ago.

4. But because she was not officially married off, every Chinese New Year I had to give her angpow. She was deemed as single and entitled to the red packet(angpow).Finally next yr, angpow stop liao.

5. Why wait until now? Well this has got to do with privasy and freedom of living together.A normal case of avoiding staying with mother-in-law.Her husband was the co-owner of a 4rm HDB flat staying with his parent and a sister. My sister was fussy to move in staying in a single room sharing the flat with the in-law and another sister of the husband.

6. 10 yrs ago after my sister was legally registered with her husband, arrangement was made for the in-law to withdraw the co-owner name. They then bought another flat.
After the in-law had bought another flat, the trouble is the in-law did not move out to stay but instead let another son and sister to stay. The in-law was too close to the son to leave him.

7. The poor son LOVE is torn between the parent and the wife. The parent want to stay with the son. My sister insist either her husband choose her to stay privately on their own or NO marriage! In short, no own house no kawin! that caused the delay.

8. Finally, this filial son has to make another decision.He cannot asked the parent to get out of the house. This is amounting to dishonour. So he make an excuse by selling the 4rm HDB flat. So the parent has no choice but to shift to their own flat.

9. After the parent has shifted out to their own house, my sister and her husband then buy another resale flat in the same block with their parent. The parent were on the 17th floor while my sister were on the 9th floor. They renovated their own flat like a love-nest palace cosy and sexy!Finally after the LOVE-NEST cosy room of their own house was ready, they announced their official marriage.

10.They are so determined to wait for 10 yrs before coming to stay together as husband and wife. I cannot understand why my sister was so fussy about this. Maybe she has watched too much chinese drama show about the evil of staying with in-law.
Or she has seen the problems of staying in a big family and the many household work when she was young. She do not want to come home facing the in-law. She have enough of household work staying with my brother cos my sister-in-law make her clean up the house every Friday during her off day.She has enough of cleaning house for others.

11.Maybe she met my specialist doctor or someone else who told her the art of living in a private cosy room. She must have the idea that we spend one third of our life sleeping.So staying and living in a peaceful house of your own privately is her dream. Everyone has their own dream.

12.As to the marriage age of 46 yrs, I wonder how to make baby now. Have she decided earlier not to have any child aready? I got to ask her or ask my other sister to make an inquiry.

13.So coming this 28th June she make 2-in-1 celebration.In the afternoon she had house warming lunch for the family and invited guests. In the evening, the wedding dinner was held in a Chinese restaurant. My family member of eight occupied 1 table.
So kena big summon! The last sister happy day so must at least give a big angpow!

14.I once heard a story of the tradition of Chinese daughter marrying off. Every traditional parent want their daughter married off young preferable before her 21st birthday. My mother was married off at age 16 to my father aged 18. I got married at age 26.

15.There was this widow woman with only 1 daughter.Mother and daughter were very close. The daughter was very filial to the mother. When she reached the age of 21 yrs, the mother arranged for match-maker to marry her off. The daughter was very beautiful and there were many proposals. There was no lack of suitors. But everytime the daughter will turn down the idea of marriage.

16.The daughter cannot bear to leave her mother. She just want to stay and take care of her mother. As time past she become 21 to 30 and then to 40 yrs of age! Ah! Shakespere famous love saying from the story of Romeo and Juliet, A single beautiful lady not married off is like a "Rose in a desert air"!

17.The meaning of a rose in a desert air is very simple. Rose is a beautiful flower normally presented as gift during Valentine day. For the Rose to preserve its beauty it is placed in a vase with water and put in a room to admire. But if it is placed in the desert, it will wilt and die very fast. Desert is too hot and who is there to admire! What a waste! Rose in the desert air!

18.So here come when the Rose was 40 yrs,her mother was in her 70 yr.So 1 day,the mother called her Rose(daughter) and had her final word with her.She pleaded with her not to let her die worried.She may have to leave her one day. Her concern is that when Rose reached her age there is no one to care for her.She should look a bit further when her turn come to have someone take care of her.At least a husband if not another daughter of her. The aged old mother also wish to have a grandchild before she leave. Very traditional thinking mah!

19.Finally Rose think it over and decided to heed her mother advise. A match maker was arranged for her. This time she say Yes. Quickly a marriage was fixed! No time to wait! Chinese say 3 step walked in 1 step! Like shot gun marriage but it was not!
Her husband was just a normal macho man with two hands two legs one nose one mouth two eyes, able to perform the normal manhood.Deng deng deng!Off she kawin off!

20.It was traditional for the Chinese daughter after marrying off, she can only return home after at least 1 week.But Rose just after 3 days returned home to her mother! A very filial daughter she cannot bear to leave her mother!She was very concern for the mother. The mother was also happy.

21.But on her return home, mother and daughter hugged and cry! The mother cry with tears of joy! But the daughter cry and cry non stop!So the mother find it strange and was a bit worried! She then questioned her! Was her husband bad to her! Daughter shake her head and cry louder!Did her husband beat her? No! cry even louder!
The mother was trying very hard to ask why she is crying but the daughter just did not say anything only cry and cry baby cry!

22. Curious the mother thought something embarass which the daughter may be shy to say.She thought maybe it was the first night pain lah. You know virgin girl in her first night sure pain 1. So the mother softly asked her daughter was it because of pain the first night? Guess what? The daughter cried even louder and beat her chest!
The mother give up and stopped asking her.

23. Finally her mother lost her patient and told her daughter to speak up. She was just puzzled if the husband was not bad and did not beat her or scold her why is she coming home crying?

24. When the mother give up questioning, then the daughter opened her mouth and blamed herself! She told her mother she did not know the secret of love making that was so "song" and so wonderful! She cried because she felt she had lost 20 yrs of wonderful life. Three night of forbidden food with her husband she felt she should have married 20 years earlier! Short of 20 yrs of married life!

25. Hahaha it was cry of joy for both mother and daughter!My mother and other sisters did not share this joy with my this last sister. So she marry late! I hope time is not lost even at age 46 yrs!I hope she come home after 3 days of married life and cry to her heart content and shed a gallon of tears!


1. Two weeks ago, Marcus Teo, a friend of James, my brother in law asked me to help him out to be an assist trainer. I went just to assist 2 days due to overlapping time schedule.Their trainers were fully occupied. James was approached but he was engaged in another ITE.

2. James who have being a trainer in the past few years has also been to China for short teaching period. A year or 2 in the past he has helped a friend whom we called "Botak" who had some motor mechanic skill but only a Sec 2 drop-out education.
After helping this unemployed friend for a short period, Botak, although not educated were very business minded.

3. After a short period he forsee great potential in setting up a learning school.This was because government now out-sourced vocational training course to the private learning school to teach.James Botak and Marcus discussed to set up the Learning School and bid for the job with the ITE or other Vocational School.

4. The trouble is James and Botak later had a big quarrel.Hence, Botak and Marcus went ahead and set up Renaissance Learning. Now after one year of setting up the school, their business grew big. Botak bring his son and daughter and sister-in-law and their course module expanded from motor maintenance to SPA, barber, cooking and IT.

5. The sour point is James who helped Botak from nothing to someone now rich and successful. But this man is ungrateful. My mother-in-law who is aware of what is happening is also very angry. How can someone who is a Sec II drop-out compared with James a Diploma holder overtake him and set up a Learning School and be a boss, now earning more than $10,000.00 a month. Boh Meng liao(No face).

6. The chinese has a saying, "Ge kio tat choon".(after crossing river kicked away the boat).The meaning is after someone helped you crossed the road, you then kicked away the boat.James helped him(botak) out of his unemployed status the opportunity to catch a horse and ride sucessfully. The successful botak was ungrateful. He went to earn his money. But poor James remained a part-time trainer. Earning from hand to mouth.

7. My mother-in-law who came to know that I went to assist Botak, phoned me. She poured her sorrow to me. Immediately, she asked me to set up another Learning School and compete. Her thinking is very simple. Why a Sec II drop-out person who cannot even write a course content can be a Boss. Why her two sons with Diploma holder cannot succeed. Ah! she did not mention the third son also a Diploma Holder- that lazy mad man!

8.I told my mother-in-law I had no experience about teaching.I asked her why James after teaching so many year dont set up himself? She say James had no conviction and also lazy. He is interested in horse gambling during weekend.Hence, he has no business in mind.She say if I set up, James and her elder son Sui Yew can join in to teach. She very "tai hong" and say that money few hundred thousand no have but 30-40 k anytime I can take from her as loan or partner share. Her words is immediate start dont need to wait. She say my son, Ernest and daughter Michelle also can teach.

9.Wah, what make her had trust and confidence in me.My years of honouring her buying her makan, gifts and drink(SO Hennesy,martell,ABC stout) touch her heart.In short my years of "Angkat"(carry) set my standard in her confidence in me.Just like Michelle set her standard to her supposed mother-in-law loving her and caring her. But alas, you dont marry to the mother-in-law, you marry to her son. If her son failed to win your heart, how good the mother-in-law also no use!

10.In today life money pay a very strong part in relationship. No money no talk.
When you have money friends and relatives look you up. When you have no money, even ghost also run away from you.

11.In setting up business, interest and conviction is important. If a person has no interest you can push him to the water he will not want to drink.

12.Coming to the set up Learning School, I can think of some courses. I am not in favour of those common courses, motor-maintenance, IT, barber, spa. Maybe, something more practical like refilling of ink cartridge, toner cartridge, printer servicing my specialist. Or things like recycling, collecting of used computer, monitor, laptop,Iphone etc.Modern courses like brewing beer, wine testing is something no one offer! This one sure jalan(work). Common chinese cultural festival of making Mooncakes, coming Bak-Chang festival, making Bak-Chang,popiah, curry puff etc.

13.When we promote to the School Principal we had to sell the idea that some knowledge of Cultural preservation is good for the pupil.Hence, the idea of making mooncakes, bak-chang! Motor-cycle maintenance may be of the past job for present student. How many students now want to take up the job of motor-mechanic.Very soon it will be like cleaner job talented to the foreigners.

14. Hence, we should go for course like beer brewing and perhaps wine tasting or tea making.Japanese tea, Chinese tea, Korean tea or tongkat ali!

15. Instead of swimming, maybe we can look for Ice-skatting, roller skating course.
This sure attract 100% interest.The only draw back is safety concern which the Principal may not want to risk for the student.In spore, where to find Ice-skating ring? Jialat!

16.My thinking is that Michelle can take the led. She had her present student taking piano, swimming class. By setting up a learning centre it can be expanded to tuition for Japanese language where Toru can teach. Maybe I can conduct basis Malay lesson.
James can contribute his ITE course.

17.My problems is my lack of IT knowledge. Only Ernest and toru can help out in the programming and course content set up. In today cyberspace, everything is taught through slide and computer.We cannot escape on this computer literacy.

18.Now we are brain storming how we are going to set up the Learning School. Michelle and Ernest and James say they will contribute ideas.
